Darden Purcell

A Washington, D.C.,-based jazz vocalist, Darden Purcell is an active soloist with symphony orchestras, big bands, and small ensembles. She has shared the stage with top jazz artists like Eric Alexander, Terell Stafford, and Byron Stripling, performing at venues such as Blues Alley, The Jazz Kitchen, and The Kennedy Center. Internationally, she has graced stages like JazzB in São Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Purcell is also the Director of Jazz Studies and Jazz Voice Instructor at George Mason University. Her extensive experience and collaborations make her a sought-after performer and educator in the jazz community.
Daryl Davis Trio
